Parang Klitik - Hairband
A special collaboration with Hair of the Dog using hand stamped batik from Yogyakarta.
A motif associated with illustriousness and prestige, batik Parang was once only to be worn by those who had royal bloodline in the Yogyakarta region during the Majapahit empire. Directly translating to "cliff," the wavy designs illustrate waves breaking against the rock face, symbolizing the perseverance and strength of good character in the face of hardship.
Parang Klitik showcases smaller and simpler s-shaped patterns. Symbolizing tenderness and wisdom, Parang Klitik was a motif worn by the princesses.
If you're looking for some serious main character energy, you've come to the right place. The scrunchie headband is a super comfy way to hide the bangs you cut yourself over lockdown while giving your outfit a serious upgrade.
We've done our research and customized the fit to avoid the dreaded "headband headache", so you can accessorize with confidence and comfort.
