Batik Tambal is a type of batik pattern that features a repeating design of circles or dots arranged in a grid. The word "tambal" is derived from the Indonesian word "tambal," which means "to patch." This name is thought to refer to the way in which the circles or dots in the pattern resemble patches sewn onto a piece of fabric.

This one-of-a-kind beautiful piece is hand-crafted using a traditional batik technique made in Gedangsari, Yogyakarta.
